I completed my Bachelor’s degree in 2013 at Yıldız Technical University’s Faculty of Art and Design, in the Photography and Video Program. In 2023, I earned a Master’s degree in Film Design from the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Maltepe University.

I am a photographer focused on minimalist and conceptual works. My art revolves around exploring the depth within simplicity, creating meaningful compositions by avoiding complexity. My photographs often feature urban landscapes, people, and nature, but I simplify these elements according to my unique perspective. For me, minimalism is not just an artistic approach—it is also a philosophy that reflects my way of life. Escaping the complexity of life and focusing on what is simple and profound at its core is essential to me.

The most important aspect I want to emphasize in my photography is creating simple yet powerful compositions. Simplicity is one of the most effective ways to reveal emotional depth. Every object, every line, and every shadow I use must serve the overall narrative of the photograph. By stripping away the unnecessary, I aim to tell a story in its purest form in every frame. Light and shadow play a crucial role in my work, adding depth and movement to my photos.

Even in my conceptual photography, I strive to push the boundaries between reality and imagination without deviating from minimalism. Going beyond the real world and offering a simple yet comprehensible aesthetic—even while guiding viewers through an imaginative realm—is essential to me. I often incorporate metaphoric elements in these works. Rather than presenting a mere image, I aim to create visuals that open different doors in the viewer’s mind.

I meticulously plan each composition. Behind every seemingly simple detail lies a thought; each photograph tells a story or reveals an emotion. I believe in the power of empty spaces. Leaving wide, open areas in my photographs provides both breathing room and thought-provoking depth for the viewer.

For me, art offers an escape from the fast and complex structure of the modern world. At the heart of my work lies the pursuit of finding peace within simplicity through minimalism. Photography is not only a medium of expression but also a reflection of how I view the world, and every frame gives me the courage to continue on this journey.
